Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your Kohapu account and your data at any time.

How to request deletion

Email support@kohapu.com from the email address of your Kohapu account, with the subject "Data deletion request". We may ask you to confirm the request before deleting anything, to make sure it really comes from you.

What we delete

• Your account and brand profile
• Generated posts, illustrations, schedules and approval history
• Product photos, logo and references you uploaded
• The access token for your connected Instagram account and the data we got from it

What we keep

• Payment records, for 5 years, because Brazilian tax law requires it.
• Your Instagram account ID and whether it already received the free preview, only to prevent repeated use of the free preview.

Timeline

We complete deletion within 15 days of confirming the request. If you have an active subscription, cancel it in Settings first so you aren't charged again.

Removing Instagram access only

To stop Kohapu from accessing your Instagram without deleting your Kohapu account, remove Kohapu in Instagram, under Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites. This does not delete your Kohapu account; follow the steps above for that.
